How to fix Sifu FPS drops, Stuttering Issue on PC?
You don’t need to try them all. Just work your way down the list until you find the one that does the trick
Fix 1. Install the latest Patch:
It may possible that the recent patch causes the game to crash and caused FPS drops. for this new patch is required. The French Studio Soclap releases regular game patches to fix bugs and boost performance.
If the latest game patch is available then it is detected by the Epic launcher and automatically downloaded and installed when you launch the game.
Launch Sifu and check if the in-game FPS is back to normal. If FPS still drops and no new patch is available then give a try to the next fix below.
Fix 2. Update your graphics driver
Mostly Sifu FPS drops, Stuttering Issue on those PC that has outdated or corrupted graphics drivers. To improve gaming performance and fix the offline crashing on startup or while joining the game you need to update the graphics card driver.

Fix 3. Optimize in-game graphics settings

Launch Sifu after you modified the in-game graphics settings. Check if its FPS still drops, If yes then try the next fix below.
Fix 4. Modify graphics card settings
Some gamers experienced that tweaking the graphics card settings in Nvidia or AMD control panel can also help to boost FPS and game performance.
For Nvidia users, follow the steps below:
Right-click on your desktop and select NVIDIA Control Panel from the context menu.
Click Manage 3D Settings on the left, then navigate to the Program Settings tab. In the Select a program to customize: part, addSifu from the program list.
In the Specify the settings for this program section, modify the following settings:
Max Frame Rate: Set it to a frame rate below your monitor’s current refresh rate
OpenGL rendering GPU: Set it to your Nvidia GPU
Power Management: Prefer Maximum Performance
Low Latency Mode: Ultra
Vertical sync: Fast
Texture filtering – Quality: Performance
Click Apply to save the changes.
For AMD users, follow the steps below:
Open AMD Radeon Settings.
Go to Gaming > Global Settings. Then modify the settings the same way you see on the screenshot below.
Launch Sifu and see if the in-game FPS increases. If not, move on to the next fix, below.
Fix 5. Change Windows power plan
Modifying the power plan of your PC can also boost the FPS and game performance.
Here’s how you can do this:
On your keyboard, press the Windows logo key and R at the same time, then type powercfg.cpl and press Enter.
In the pop-up window, expand Hide additional plans and select High performance.
Launch Sifu to check if you gain a better PFS. If this doesn’t work on your powerful PC, then try setting the Windows power plan to Ultimate Performance, a power plan which is designed to make most out of high and setups.
Follow the below steps to make appear the ultimate performance option on the power plan list:
On your keyboard, press the Windows logo key and R to invoke the Run box, type cmd,and press Ctrl, Shift and Enter at the same time to run Command Prompt as administrator
In the command prompt, paste the following command and press Enter.
If you see a prompt similar to this, go back to the Power Options window in Control Panel to enable the Ultimate Performance power plan.
Launch the game to see if Sifu’s in-game FPS improves after changing the power plan. If FPS still drops then try the next fix below
Fix 6. Disable overlays
The overlay features creates trouble while playing the game. Apps like Discord, Nvidia GeForce Experience and Twitch support the overlay feature. Overlays apps may also interfere with the performance and compatibility issues as well.
If you enable overlays while playing the game, try disabling it. Then launch Sifu and check if the FPS boost. If FPS still drops then try the next fix below.
Fix 7. Disable background recording and Xbox Game Bar
Background apps are resource-hogging and affect game performance. The enabled background recording and Xbox Game Bar feature in windows 10/11 can be caused FPS drops.
Here’s how you can disable them to gain better game performance:
On your keyboard, press the Windows logo key and I at the same time to open Windows Settings. Click Gaming to open Windows 10 gaming settings.
Turn off the toggle under Xbox Game Bar if it is turned on.
Click Captures on the left, then turn off the toggle under Background recording if it is turned on.
Launch Sifu to see you can play it smoothly.
Fix 8. Update Your System OS
Update the operating system can help to boost FPS and enhance game performance. Here’s how you can do that:
Hover to the Windows Search bar and search for Windows Update
On the next page, hit the Check For Updates button
