The King of Fighters XV: All Unlockables for PC, PS4, PS5 & Xbox Series X

The vast majority of unlockables can be unlocked through playing the game’s Story, Training or Versus modes.

Unlockable Stages

There are two unlockable stages where both the sub-boss and final boss are fought as well as an extra third stage. To unlock them, just do the following:

Max mode of KOF XV

Activating MAX Mode upon landing a regular attack or command move activates MAX Mode (Quick). Also works if the attacks are blocked. MAX Mode (Quick) allows you to combo immediately into the next action without leaving an opening. However, attack and Guard Crush strength do not increase with MAX MODE (Quick).

How to Enter Max Mode in KOF?

For example, Kyo can do a stand C, df + D, into a qcf + B + C which activates max mode and perform his qcf+C special move at the same time. Another example is Kim’s f + B overhead kick into qcb + B + C which will combo to his qcb + C special move while activating immediately into max mode.
